The loop is not only a story — it is a living experiment. The Resonance Lab is where vision becomes evidence, and where the unseen dialogue of soil, microbes, and plants can finally be measured.

I am the grower and voice behind 13th Root, a project dedicated to remembering an ancient truth: that soil, microbes, plants, and people were once in dialogue. This work began with a question — what if our gardens could grow in resonance with the people who care for them? What if the chemistry of plants could shift in subtle ways to reflect relationship, so that what we grow carries not only food, but presence?
In every handful of soil, life is awake — microbes trading signals, roots reaching for allies, plants adjusting themselves in response to care. Science calls these things quorum sensing, induced resistance, horizontal gene transfer. We call it the Genesis Resonance Loop: soil to microbe, microbe to plant, plant to person, and person back to soil. A circle of remembrance, waiting to be restored.
---------
This project is not just about research — it is about resilience. It is about reclaiming the ability to grow gardens that carry memory, food that nourishes beyond calories, and remedies that recognize the people who tend them. What if a person with a neurological illness could one day grow their own tailored remedy — a plant that rose in resonance with their physiology and care? That is the profound question at the heart of this work. By studying these patterns with care, we may uncover how resonance helps plants adapt more closely to those they serve — a path toward medicine that is deeply personal, yet grown in community.
---------
To bring this vision into form, we are building a modest home lab. Not sterile factories, but simple, precise instruments that allow us to listen and record what soil and plants are already saying. Microscopes to reveal the life awake in soil, soil chemistry tools to track nutrients and balance, profiling instruments to see how plants shift in response to care, and a clean adobe-based space to house the work. Each of these pieces supports the whole. Together they form one circle, one experiment, one return.

Your support makes you part of this story. Every contribution is more than funding equipment — it is a step toward communities reclaiming the power to grow their own resonance, to listen to soil, and to walk again in cycles of balance. Together, we can turn vision into evidence, and evidence into healing that belongs to the people.
